Sheepscar

Sheepscar forms part of inner Leeds, sitting just north of the city center on slightly elevated ground above the Aire valley. The A58 Eastgate provides the main route through the area, connecting directly to Leeds center and continuing northwest toward Harrogate. From the motorways, drivers typically use the A64 York Road or A61 Scott Hall Road, whilst local routes include Roundhay Road toward the park and Harehills Lane. The old Sheepscar Mills chimney remains a prominent red-brick landmark from the district's textile past.
