Scorriton is a small Dartmoor village in the River Dart valley, reached via the A38 and A384 through Buckfastleigh. Popular with visitors exploring the moors from Plymouth or Exeter, it's connected to neighbouring villages by narrow Devon lanes. The settlement features one of the county's last working water mills, where medieval stones still grind using river power.
