Saint Erth is a small Cornish village positioned strategically on the A3074, just off the A30 near Hayle. It's best known as a railway junction where the St Ives branch line meets the main Paddington to Penzance route. The village sits three kilometres inland from Hayle's beaches, surrounded by gentle countryside between the moors and Mount's Bay. Its railway station still operates with an original Victorian signal box using mechanical levers.
