Ruckley is a small Shropshire village 8 miles south of Shrewsbury on the A49. Most visitors arrive via this main route or the B4371 from Acton Burnell. The settlement sits in gentle rolling countryside typical of the Welsh Marches, with good access to both Shrewsbury's amenities and the Long Mynd walking area. St. Bartholomew's church features a remarkable Norman tympanum showing Christ in Majesty.
