Roscroggan lies in Cornwall's old mining country, easily reached via the A30 trunk road and local routes through Camborne. The village sits amongst the distinctive spoil heaps and engine houses that mark this former tin mining heartland, with RNAS Culdrose helicopter base nearby creating regular military air traffic. You can still visit the preserved beam engine at East Pool Mine, testament to the area's industrial heritage.
