Rannerdale

Rannerdale lies in a narrow Lake District valley above Crummock Water, reached via the B5289 from Buttermere village. The single-track road connects to the main Buttermere circular route, about 15km from Keswick via the A66 and B5292. Around 20 EV charging points serve the broader area. The valley's claim to fame is its spectacular bluebell display each spring, carpeting the fellside in vivid blue between late April and early May.
