Portaferry

Portaferry sits at the tip of the Ards Peninsula on Strangford Lough, reached via the A20 from Newtownards or by ferry from Strangford village. The town serves as the southern ferry terminal for the lough crossing and houses Queen's University Marine Laboratory, which studies the area's unique marine ecosystem.
