Playford

Playford is a Suffolk village just northeast of Ipswich, reached via the A1214 in about 10 minutes from town. The A14 provides the main connection for longer journeys, whilst locals use the B1077 and country lanes linking nearby villages. The 12th-century Church of St Mary contains remarkable medieval wall paintings discovered during 1960s restoration work.
