Oswaldkirk

Oswaldkirk is a small North Yorkshire village in the Howardian Hills, 6km southwest of Helmsley. Reach it via the B1257 from Helmsley or local roads from the A64 near Barton-le-Willows. The village sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with gentle hills and ancient woodlands. The 12th-century church of St. Oswald houses a rare medieval wooden effigy of a knight.
