It's the Crowley County seat, sitting in the Arkansas River Valley where irrigated farmland meets the high plains. Most visitors arrive via US 96 from Pueblo and I-25, while State Highway 71 provides north-south access. The 1902 red sandstone courthouse downtown is one of Colorado's most photographed small-town courthouses.
