Ollerton sits between Nottinghamshire's farmland and Sherwood Forest, with the A614 providing the main route north to the A1 and south toward Nottingham via Mansfield. The A616 and A6075 offer alternative connections, whilst local traffic flows constantly between Ollerton and New Ollerton 3km away. With approximately 80 public fast chargers nearby and Edwinstowe just 4km southeast, it's a popular stop for tourists heading to Robin Hood country. The town centre preserves its medieval triangular market place, complete with a 13th-century stone cross.
