Newark, DE

Newark is a Delaware college town built around the University of Delaware campus. It's 45 minutes from Philadelphia via I-95 (Exit 1B or 3) and connects to Baltimore, Wilmington, and western suburbs through Routes 273, 896, and 4. The historic Main Street runs through downtown with Georgian and Federal architecture, including the 1772 Old Academy Building that helped launch the university.
