Myrtlewood, AL

Myrtlewood is a tiny rural community in west-central Alabama's Marengo County, home to just 78 residents. Located along State Route 28 about 20 miles southwest of Demopolis, it's accessible via county roads connecting to US Highway 80 and US Highway 43. The area features rolling hills and pine forests typical of Alabama's Black Belt region. The community's early 1900s post office still serves as a local landmark.
