Marloes

Marloes perches on Pembrokeshire's westernmost edge, where Atlantic swells crash against towering cliffs. Reach it via the B4327 from Haverfordwest, about 20km through countryside dotted with stone farmhouses. Long-distance visitors follow the M4 to its end, then the A40 and A477 before the final coastal stretch. The village connects to Dale and Little Haven through winding lanes that reveal glimpses of Milford Haven. Marloes beach extends nearly two miles, but it's Gateholm Island - a dramatic sea stack accessible at low tide - that makes this spot unforgettable.
