Lower Assendon

Lower Assendon is a Chiltern Hills village 4km northwest of Henley-on-Thames, reached via the A4155 or through local lanes from the M40 at Junction 4. The elevated position amongst beech woodlands offers classic Oxfordshire countryside, whilst remaining within easy reach of Thames Valley amenities. The 12th-century church contains remarkably preserved medieval wall paintings.
