Lindale sits 15 miles southeast of Tyler along Highway 69 in East Texas. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 20 (Exit 556), while Highway 16 provides east-west access. Tyler Pounds Regional Airport is about 20 miles northwest. The city serves as a bedroom community for Tyler, with many residents making the 20-minute commute north.
