3About Lime Acres
Lime Acres is a Northern Cape mining town built round the Finsch diamond mine, north-west of Kimberley off the R31. Locals nip through to Danielskuil for supplies, while road-trippers from as far as Hennenman or Augrabies pass through en route to the Kalahari. It's flat, open plains country out here, so charge your EV in Kimberley before heading in. The town even has its own airstrip, LMR, built to fly diamonds and mine staff straight out.
