Learned, MS

Learned is a tiny railroad community 20 miles southwest of Jackson on Highway 18. With just 72 residents, it sits along the old Illinois Central tracks in flat Delta country. The town connects to Vicksburg via Highway 18 and reaches Interstate 20 through nearby Edwards. Learned gets its name from the historic railroad depot that once shipped local cotton crops.
