Kilnaleck

Kilnaleck sits in County Cavan, well placed for reaching both Dublin and Belfast. From Dublin, take the M3 to Navan then the N3 through Virginia, about 90 minutes total. From Belfast, it's the A1 to Newry, then N2 through Monaghan before picking up local roads. The town makes a handy base for exploring Cavan's lakes and fishing spots. The old stone bridge from the 1800s still carries traffic over the Kilnaleck River, connecting the main street to the houses on the far side.
