Kilmead sits in County Kildare about 50 kilometers southwest of Dublin, positioned along the N78 with direct access to the M7 motorway. Most drivers from Dublin take the M7 to Junction 13, then follow the N78 south through Newbridge. The town makes a handy stopping point for electric vehicles with around 30 fast chargers nearby. You'll find yourself in the heart of the Curragh plains, famous for agriculture and golf courses like Rathsallagh and Royal Curragh. The real draw is being minutes from the Curragh Racecourse, headquarters of Irish flat racing since 1741 and home to all five Irish Classics.
