Kearstwick

Kearstwick is a small Cumbrian settlement two kilometres from Kirkby Lonsdale in the Lune Valley. Reach it via the A65 and local roads, with the A6 from Lancaster or M6 Junction 36 for longer journeys. The village sits amongst limestone pastures where the Pennines meet gentler valley countryside. Its Victorian public wash house and baths remain intact, a rare example of 19th-century community facilities.
