Hoy

Hoy, Orkney's second-largest island, requires a ferry journey from Houton on the Mainland via the A965. The 25-minute crossing lands at Lyness, where a single road serves the island's scattered settlements and provides access to walking routes toward the famous Old Man of Hoy sea stack and Britain's highest sea cliffs at St John's Head.
