Hartlepool

Hartlepool is a County Durham coastal town reached via the A19 from Newcastle (25 miles north) or the A1(M) junction near Billingham. The A689 connects westward to Bishop Auckland, whilst the A179 leads into the town centre. With over 100 public EV chargers available, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The marina houses HMS Trincomalee, an 1817 Royal Navy frigate and one of Britain's oldest surviving warships.
