Hartfield

Hartfield nestles in Ashdown Forest, the woodland that inspired Winnie-the-Pooh. Reach it via the B2026 from the A22 at Forest Row, with the M25 about 50 kilometres north. The village green hosts the original Poohsticks Bridge where visitors still drop sticks into the stream, maintaining a tradition from Milne's beloved tales.
