Hankelow is a small Cheshire village between Nantwich and Audlem, easily reached via the A529 from M6 Junction 16. It's a handy stop for exploring the Llangollen Canal at nearby Audlem, where 15 consecutive locks create quite a spectacle as narrowboats navigate this impressive flight of Victorian engineering.
