Glenfarne

Glenfarne is a handy stop along the N16 between Sligo and Enniskillen, sitting pretty in County Leitrim's farming country. Most folk coming from Dublin take the M4 to Longford, then pick up the N4 and R280 north before joining the N16. It's only 30 kilometers east of Sligo town, making it grand for crossing between Sligo and Fermanagh. The village hosts the Glenfarne Folk Festival each summer, which brings traditional music lovers from all over Ireland to this quiet corner of Leitrim.
