Five Houses is a small settlement in the Isle of Wight's western countryside, reached via the B3401 from Newport or the A3054 from Yarmouth. Popular with day trippers exploring the rural interior, it's well-positioned for visits to Newtown Nature Reserve and the western coast. The name comes from five distinctive cottages that once lined the old coaching road.
