About Fishguard

Fishguard perches on Pembrokeshire's north coast where ferries depart for Ireland from nearby Goodwick. The A40 brings visitors from the M4 corridor via Haverfordwest, whilst the A487 coastal route connects St Davids and Cardigan. Around 15 fast chargers serve electric vehicles, particularly useful for ferry passengers. The town witnessed Britain's last invasion in 1797 when French forces landed at Carregwastad Point.
