Finchingfield

Finchingfield lies in northwest Essex, reached via the A1017 from Great Dunmow or country lanes off the A120. Most visitors approach from the M11 Junction 8, whilst locals use the B1053 from Braintree through rolling farmland. London Stansted Airport sits 15 miles southeast. The village green slopes down to a duck pond beneath a Norman church, creating England's most photographed village scene.
