Faulston

Faulston lies in Wiltshire's chalk downland, eight miles south of Salisbury via the A354. From London, take the M3 to Winchester then follow the A272 and A354 through rolling countryside. The A30 offers an alternative route from the west. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 50 fast charging points nearby, mainly concentrated in Salisbury. The village sits close to MoD Boscombe Down airfield, where experimental aircraft testing occasionally provides an unexpected soundtrack. St. George's church houses a remarkable 13th-century wooden knight's effigy, one of only a few medieval wooden sculptures surviving in English parish churches.
