Faulkton, SD

Faulkton is a farming town of 670 people in north-central South Dakota that serves as the Faulk County seat. US Highway 212 runs east-west through town, connecting to Aberdeen (60 miles east) and Gettysburg (40 miles west), while State Highway 20 provides north-south access. The town sits in rolling prairie country with a continental climate. Its 1908 red brick courthouse dominates Main Street and can be seen for miles across the surrounding wheat fields and ranch land.
