Ewenny is a small Vale of Glamorgan village just off the A48, easily reached from Cardiff via M4 Junction 35 and the A473 through Bridgend. The village sits between the Welsh countryside and coast, with Cardiff International Airport 15 kilometres southeast. Ewenny Priory, a functioning 12th-century Benedictine monastery with original Norman fortifications, remains the village's most remarkable feature.
