Emeryville is a tiny biotech hub between Berkeley and Oakland, easily reached via I-80 or Highway 580. The city sits right on San Francisco Bay with quick freeway access to downtown SF and the East Bay. Most visitors pass through on I-80 or stop at the Bay Street shopping center. Pixar's colorful animation campus with its distinctive outdoor sculptures is visible right from the freeway.
