Elwood, IL

Elwood is a small Will County town about 45 miles southwest of Chicago, accessible via I-55 Exit 241. The agricultural community of 2,000 sits between Joliet and Manhattan, connected by Routes 53 and 113. Joliet Regional Airport lies just northeast of town. Despite development pressure from Chicago's expansion, Elwood maintains its rural character and hosts the annual Catfish Days festival along the Des Plaines River.
