Edale

Edale lies in a dramatic Pennine valley, serving as the start of the 268-mile Pennine Way footpath. Reach it via the A57 Snake Pass from Manchester or Sheffield, or through Chapel-en-le-Frith from the A6. The village attracts walkers year-round despite harsh moorland weather, with over 30 EV charging points nearby. The Victorian railway signal box still controls the level crossing.
