Drumsna is a small river town on the Shannon in County Leitrim, famous for The Shed Distillery that's put it on the map for whiskey lovers. Most visitors come off the N4 at the R280 exit, about 150 kilometres from Dublin, or take a short spin from Carrick-on-Shannon on the R299. The distillery runs tours through their stone warehouses where they age premium Irish whiskey, ending with tastings that draw spirits enthusiasts from across the country. The town sits on just 25 hectares along the Shannon's western bank.
