Deepcar is a former steel village in the South Yorkshire Pennines, about 10km northwest of Sheffield via the A6102 Glossop Road. The village sits in a valley along the Little Don River with moorland on both sides. It's well-positioned for commuters, with the A6102 providing direct links to Sheffield and onward to Manchester via the Pennine crossing. The Pennine Way footpath crosses the main road just west of the village center.
