Daingerfield, TX

Daingerfield is a small East Texas town of 2,500 people located 30 miles west of Louisiana in the Piney Woods region. US Highway 259 runs right through town, connecting north to Interstate 30 and south to Interstate 20 near Marshall. Most visitors arrive via I-20 from Dallas (120 miles) or Shreveport, then take US 259 north for the final stretch. The town centers around Daingerfield State Park, which features an 80-acre CCC-built lake surrounded by towering pines.
