Cooneen lies along the A4 in County Fermanagh, roughly midway between Enniskillen and Dungannon. The village serves as a convenient waypoint for cross-province journeys, with the M1 from Belfast connecting to the A4 for a 90-kilometre drive. Local routes link to Fivemiletown (7km) and Brookeborough (8km), whilst approximately 9 EV charging points support electric vehicles in the area. The old stone bridge spanning the village stream remains its most recognisable landmark.
