Coedcae

Coedcae lies in the South Wales Valleys between Nantyglo and Brynmawr, reached via the A4047 from Abergavenny or the A465 Heads of the Valleys road. The former mining community sits where valleys converge, surrounded by steep hills typical of Blaenau Gwent. Its Welsh name translates as "wood field," marking where ancient woodland once met farmland on the valley slopes.
