Clontarf

Clontarf runs along Dublin Bay on the northside, connecting the city center to Howth via the coastal R105. It's a handy route for getting to northern areas like Malahide, with good links to the M1 and M50. Dublin Airport is about 20 minutes away through the R107. The area serves as a proper connector between town and the coast, with decent charging points scattered about for electric cars. The real draw is the Bull Island causeway that juts into the bay, creating a tidal island that's home to one of Europe's top bird sanctuaries.
