3About Clonoulty
Clonoulty is a small County Tipperary village on the R661 between Cashel and Dundrum, sitting in the Golden Vale with the Galtee Mountains rising to the south. Most visitors come off the M8 at Junction 10 in Cashel, then follow the R661 southwest for 8 kilometers. The village makes a handy stop when exploring Cashel's ancient sites or heading to the Galtees for outdoor activities. It's the birthplace of Dan Breen, the War of Independence figure, and there's a monument to him and Sean Treacy in the village center.
