Most visitors come off the M8 at Junction 10 in Cashel, then follow the R661 southwest for 8 kilometers. The village makes a handy stop when exploring Cashel's ancient sites or heading to the Galtees for outdoor activities. It's the birthplace of Dan Breen, the War of Independence figure, and there's a monument to him and Sean Treacy in the village center.
