About Clashmore

Clashmore is a small County Waterford village where the Blackwater River meets the sea, about 15 kilometres east of Youghal and 50 kilometres southwest of Waterford city. Most visitors arrive via the N25 coastal route, making it a handy stop for those touring the Copper Coast or heading to nearby seaside towns. The village is famous for its 12th-century church ruins, particularly a well-preserved round tower that's considered one of County Waterford's finest examples of its kind.
