Cemmaes

Cemmaes is a small Dyfi Valley village on the A470, Wales' main north-south route between Cardiff and Llandudno. Most visitors arrive from Dolgellau (20km north) or Machynlleth (15km south), with connections to the A489 at nearby Cemmaes Road. About 15 fast EV chargers serve the area, mainly in Machynlleth. The village houses the Centre for Alternative Technology, famous for its water-powered cliff railway.
