Cawood is a historic village on the River Ouse, 10 miles south of York via the A19. Day-trippers arrive from York in 20 minutes, whilst longer journeys typically come through Selby from the M62. The village sits on flat Vale of York farmland with around 90 EV charging points nearby. Its 15th-century gatehouse is all that remains of the Archbishop of York's palace where Cardinal Wolsey met his downfall.
