Calthwaite

Calthwaite is a small Eden Valley village in Cumbria, positioned between the Lake District and Pennines. Most visitors arrive via the A6 from Penrith, 8km north, or from Junction 41 on the nearby M6. The village features St. Kentigern's Church, a Norman building containing rare medieval wall paintings discovered during 1980s restoration work.
