Bursledon

Bursledon lies along the River Hamble between Southampton and the Solent, accessible via the A27 and local roads from the M27 motorway. The village serves as a gateway to Hampshire's sailing waters, with good connections to Southampton Airport 15 minutes north. HMS Elephant, Nelson's flagship at Copenhagen, was built at Bursledon's historic shipyard in 1786.
