Bunavoneader perches on Harris's Atlantic edge in the Outer Hebrides, reached via the A859 from Tarbert 8km southeast. Most long-distance visitors arrive from Back on Lewis (63km), whilst locals make short hops between coastal settlements. About 5 public fast chargers serve the wider area. The village overlooks Loch Resort, where abandoned blackhouse foundations still mark former crofting sites.
