The Bronx is New York City's northernmost borough, connected to Manhattan by bridges and major highways. Interstate 95 runs along the eastern edge while the Cross Bronx Expressway cuts through the middle, linking New Jersey to Queens. The Major Deegan Expressway provides north-south access to upstate areas. LaGuardia Airport sits about 15 miles southeast via the Bruckner Expressway.
