Brighton is a small community in the Saint John River valley, just off Route 2 (the Trans-Canada) in Carleton County. It's about 45 minutes northwest of Fredericton and a short hop from Woodstock, the area's main service hub, with EV charging available there for anyone road-tripping the valley. Local trips to Peel or Wakefield take 20 to 30 minutes along Route 105, which runs right along the river. The area is prime potato farming country, and the highway here roughly follows the old river road used for generations.
